What is iridology and how does it work?
Iridology is the study of the iris, or coloured part of the eye. The iris reveals changing conditions of every part of the organ of the body. Through various marks, signs and discolouration in the iris, nature reveals inherited weaknesses and strengths.
Iridology cannot detect a specific disease however it can tell an individual if they have over or under activity in specific areas of the body.

Iridology is generally safe, non-invasive and painless. It is not a treatment therapy but rather a diagnostic tool used to detect underlying signs of developing disease. The goal of Iridology is therefore to recognise health problems at their earliest stages and to suggest ways to keep disease from developing.
The iris is connected to every organ and tissue and is so called "the window" to our body.
The iridologist will examine your eyes by taking photographs of your iris with a specially designed camera.

As a method of diagnosis, iridology can help anyone who wants to find out more about their state of health.

What happens during a visit to a clinical nutritionist?
At first, the clinical nutritionist will ask you questions about your medical history, family history, and personal lifestyle. The medical history might include questions about your diet, digestion, history of weight loss or gain, sleep and exercise patterns, and relaxation habits. Sometimes you will need to bring a 3-day food diary and a list of any herbs, supplements, or medicines that you are take regularly. Laboratory tests might be used to find out if you are low in any nutrients and to test your organ function. This way, a nutritionist will get a full picture of your nutritional lifestyle.

During the second part of the visit, the nutritionist will suggest ways that you can improve your health and reduce the "overloads" in your diet. The nutritionist will also offer advice on specific nutritional supplements if necessary.

The nutritionist will then schedule follow-up visits to monitor your health.
